The new BMW M3 comes built with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six that’s available in two different states of tune, making 473 and 503 horsepower. In addition, this model will offer a manual transmission. The model with the higher horsepower is reserved for the Competition model however and isn’t available with the manual transmission but does adopt all-wheel drive. More performance-enhancing features include adaptive dampers and adjustable brake-pedal feel as well as optional carbon-ceramic brake upgrades and 18-inch wheels in front and 19-inch wheels in back.
