BMW iX Review: Edmunds
In their glowing BMW iX review, Edmunds reviewer Cameron Rogers said: ”Last year’s iX was a great start in establishing BMW as a major player in the electric luxury SUV space. The 2023 BMW iX M60 gives this crossover the thrust necessary to stay competitive with the likes of the Tesla Model X.” While they had very positive things to say about the long-distance capabilities of this groundbreaking model, Rogers was most impressed by the 610-hp iX M60 powerhouse, which raises the stakes of the EV segment.
BMW iX Review: Kelley Blue Book
Continuing the trend, Kelley Blue Book produced their very own glowing BMW iX review. Reviewer Colin Ryan noted: “This is significant. For BMW to make an M version of what is still a new vehicle without an established track record (so to speak; the iX debuted only last year) shows the company’s commitment to electric vehicles while retaining the talents for which BMW cars — especially versions from the high-performance M division — are quite rightly praised.” Beyond the M Series, Ryan lauded the possible 324-mile range and the heavy-duty horsepower as gamechangers.

Rounding off the BMW iX reviews, Drew Dorian of Car and Driver ranked the iX in the number 1 position in its category – ahead of competition like the Cadillac LYRIQ. And while Dorian echoed the praise of Edmunds and Kelley Blue Book, he also loved the thoughtfully-designed interior: “The iX’s spacious interior is lined with fine materials and features a fancy, futuristic design; a large digital dashboard displays the future of BMW’s iDrive infotainment system and is controlled by a cool see-through rotary knob on the center console.”
